THE HOLY BREAD OF PADRE PIO

THE HOLY BREAD OF PADRE PIO

This bread is called Hemin. It is the bread of Padre Pio and it comes from the Vatican. It brings good luck to every family who eats it. On the 10th day, you must give to other good people.

*** REMEMBER: YOU CANNOT REFUSE THE BREAD ONCE IT IS GIVEN TO YOU, AND YOU CAN ONLY USE A WOODEN SPOON. ***

What to do:
Once you receive the dough, put it in a large glass bowl. It must be covered with either wax paper or plastic wrap and put in the counter at room temperature. Do not put in the refrigerator.

On the 1st and 2nd day: Do not touch the dough. It must adapt and absorb to its surroundings and take in the atmosphere. This is what makes each batch so unique from family to family.

On the 3rd and 4th day: Mix the dough with a wooden spoon once per day.

On the 5th day: Add to the dough 1 cup evaporated milk, 2cups of all-purpose flour and 1cup of refined sugar. Mix well with a wooden spoon.

On the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th day: Mix dough with a wooden spoon once per day.

On the 10th day: Add to the dough 1 cup evaporated milk, 2cups of all-purpose flour and 1 cup of refined sugar. Mix well with a wooden spoon. When mixed well, separate the dough into four equal portions. You give away three of these portions to three different people.
